Fundraising
We are incredibly grateful to our funders, fundraisers, and supporters—your dedication fuels everything we do. Because of you, we’re able to bring hope, safety, and change to those impacted by domestic abuse.

Ways to fundraise for us
Afternoon Tea
Enjoy a Cuppa, Cake and Chat
Fundraising can be a piece of cake!
Join in with many of SWA’s friends and supporter and put on an Afternoon Tea. A time to connect over a cuppa and cake this summer, whilst raising funds to help those impacted by Domestic Abuse. No matter the size of your afternoon tea event, it’ll make a difference.
Run for a Reason
Swindon Half Marathon
Join us and turn your run into impact. We have a team of runners taking part in the Swindon Half Marathon on 27th September. By running the 13.1 miles for us, you’ll be helping to support individuals and their families affected by domestic abuse and help create safe futures.
Firewalk
Walk in survivor’s footsteps
Will you brave the blaze?
Fundraising isn’t just about raising money it’s also about raising awareness. That’s why we host our annual Firewalk in October. Not only is it a chance to challenge yourself whilst also raising vital funds for a life changing cause, but doing so you will experience a glimpse of the feelings and thoughts survivors of abuse face as they bravely take their first steps from fear to freedom.
Will you join us this year for a night you’ll never forget?
Do your own fundraiser
It can be anything you like!
We have some S.W.A fundraisings ideas that might help you get started but you can do anything you like. Fundraising for our cause will make a difference to children, women and men impacted by domestic abuse and will also help support our prevention work within schools and colleges – teaching about healthy relationships early so hopefully no-one will experience domestic abuse in the future.

Make giving your fundraising easy
Why not use GivenGain?
Have a fundraising idea and want to raise money for SWA?
SWA use GivenGain as a main fundraising platform as they’re a not-for-profit platform, meaning more of your donations go where it’s needed the most.
GivenGain is an easy way to create a fundraiser page, to share with your friends, track who has supported you and share the funds directly with us when your ‘event’ is over. If you have another preferred fundraising platform, feel free to use it.
If you haven’t the time or desire to want to organise a fundraiser but would love to donate to our cause there are a number of ways to do this too. One easy way is using our Given Gain page – just click ‘donate’. You can visit our ‘Donation‘ page to also find other ways to give.
